TODAY IN MUSIC HISTORY: 7/4

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

While Red Banana Media does its best to stay out of politics, for the time being, this flashback seemed appropriate.

Back in 2002, George Michael put out quite a controversial video for his tune "Shoot the Dog", which served to criticize now former British Prime Minister Tony Blair for his blatant obedience to President George W. Bush. That year, on this day, George Michael was interviewed by CNN to defend the video, which went as far as to put President Bush and Tony Blair in bed together.

TODAY IN MUSIC HISTORY: 6/29

In 1985, David Bowie and Mick Jagger recorded their version of "Dancing In The Street" by Martha Reeves and The Vandellas!  The team up was for a 'Live Aid' fundraising event, and went to #1 in the UK!  We've posted this video once before, but I am very excited to be posting it again!  It's intense!
